Incidents last week –

22/06/2016 Wimbledon Area signalling Centre A Wimbledon signaller heated up a cup of milk in a microwave for 2 minutes and went to remove it with herbare hand.

She sustained a burn and blister to her right index finger.
First aid was administered, but a hospital visit was required the following day having lost feeling in her finger.

24/06/2016 Shawford Junction 1T29 (1109 Waterloo – Portsmouth Harbour) reported a near miss with a track worker.  CCTV from Shawford station and the train has been requested. This is under investigation.
25/06/2016 Wokingham Signal Box Whilst the MOM was un-securing 17 facing point lock on Wokingham Junction, the S&T moved the lever within the Signal Box without the Signallers authority. The mechanical points moved and caught the MOMs glove nearly crushing the hand.
