Portcreek Junction
Staff accident
Whilst assisting with the recovery of swans from the line, a Mobile Operations Manager received scratches on his arms caused by a swans claws.
This was the MOMs first incident involving swans and had not been wearing long sleeves due to the hot weather.
Golden Hour applied and there was no lost time.

New Malden
Staff Accident
A member of welding staff struck their left thumb when using a small hammer to place a wedge in the rail. The thumb became blistered and required draining at hospital.
The hospital prescribed a course of antibiotics.
The Golden Hour was applied and no there was no lost time.
01/10/2017
Clapham Junction
Staff Accident
A Works Delivery Operative crushed his right hand and he sustained a deep laceration after an Iron Man fell onto it whilst loading it onto a vehicle.
He attended hospital and was detained whilst the injury was cleaned, x-rayed and stitched.
There were no broken bones.
The Golden Hour was applied and lost time was anticipated.
