A member of Woking CRE staff cut his middle whilst getting up from a chair. The chair had damage to the underside of the armrest which was not visible and was later thrown away. The Golden Hour was applied and there was no lost time. |

South Western Railway service 1L72 reported a lineside fire at 85m 40ch – 85m 60ch on the upside by the boundary fence. Upon investigation it was established to be a Patrolman’s hut that was on fire and took just under 2 hours to put out. |

Freightliner 4M58 passed E971 signal at red by approximately 120 metres after the Driver was alleged to have become distracted by railway staff working in the area and communicating with the despatch staff. The signal had been at red due to a failure that the railway staff were attending. |

A member of Possession Support Staff placed the protection in the wrong place and blocked no. 2 siding vice 1. Upon being asked to carry it out again, it was placed incorrectly again for a second time. Upon further investigation it was established to have been a planning error. |
