Incidents this week

16/08/2016 – Sway / Brockenhurst – Member of Eastleigh Telecoms was opening an Location Case when he caught his foot on a pipe which resulted in him losing his footing and his right leg slipping about 2 feet causing some bruising and a scratch to his right leg.

No first aid or hospital visit was required.

16/08/2016 – Basingstoke – Member of staff from Eastleigh Pway reported having an accident when within the canteen at. Basingstoke ROC when he stood up and his back became painful. No first aid required, but a hospital visit was arranged.

Golden Hour applied.  Drumbeat: Woke up stiff this morning, but has taken painkillers and resumed duty this morning. Incident not being recorded on SMIS.

10/08/2016 – Wareham Sidings – A member of works delivery Eastleigh whist wearing Network Rail approved sun cream noticed his right forearm was sunburnt and blistered.

The affected area has cleared up, he spoke to his GP and they have said it must be where he was digging and must of rubbed the cream off his arm.
