Eastleigh Depot Carriage Siding
Possession Irregularity Item 505
5M18 reported running over a T3 possession detonator which had not been removed close to E245 Ground Position Light signal on exiting No.1 road from the depot.
This incident is currently under investigation.

Dorking / Leatherhead
Line Blockage Irregularity
Wimbledon Panel noticed ‘LK’ track circuit flick on the Up line by W492 signal.
Upon speaking with the Dorking signaller it was established this was caused by S&T who had a line blockage from CBK37 at Dorking to W492 signal at Leatherhead Jnc.
Dorking had not advised Wimbledon that this was in place.
This incident is subject to a Sussex investigation.

Strawberry Hill Level Crossing
Operating Irregularity (P) Item 115
The Feltham Shift Manager reported that an irregularity had occurred with a tamper (6J61) which had been authorised out of the possession.
The Signaller had used the correct route card for the movement, but had overlooked to lower Strawberry Hill CCTV barriers.
The tamper traversed over the crossing with just the read road lights flashing which had illuminated due to the train movement.
Due to the time of night, no users were on the crossing at the time.
This incident is subject to further investigation.

Haslemere
Staff Accident
A member of Havant PWay was undertaking a two person lift with a saddle of a stressing kit. The other person who had been assisting the Injured Party tripped and lost his balance on other tools on site.
The Injured Party consequently lost his balance himself and was now carrying the load and felt a sharp pain in the lower right hand side of his back.
The Golden Hour was applied and no lost time was anticipated.
This accident is subject to further investigation.

Possession Irregularity Item 68/ 6J29
The ODM reported that an irregularity occurred within item 68 where a Tamper (6J29) had been authorised out of a worksite and to go to BE399 signal on the Down Fast for the possession to be cleared around the train.
The Tamper Driver however; continued to BE407 having become confused with the previous nights arrangement.
This incident is under further investigation by Balfour Beatty.

Vauxhall
Cat A SPAD – 2H10
2H10 experienced a Cat A SPAD at W50 on the Up Main Slow after losing concentration.
The train passed the signal by 3 ½ coaches.
No allegations were made toward the signal and remained in use.
The Train was authorised to continue to Waterloo to prevent trains being delayed and put at risk in rear.
This incident is subject to further investigation.

Staff Accident
A member of Woking S&T was taking part in a three man lift with an AWS electro magnet.
The team were crossing from the down to up line, but due to uneven ballast and the third rail, the team aborted the lift and tried again in a more suitable location.
Post the lift, one of the team felt a strain in their lower back muscle.
The Golden Hour was applied and no lost time was anticipated.
This accident is subject to further investigation.
