Eastleigh
35. Staff Accident
An Assistant Team Leader was driving a flat bed and slowed down as his neighbour was stood at the passenger door of their car.
As he did so, the neighbour’s dog pushed the rear door open which caught the rear of the flat bed.
There were no injuries.

Clapham Junction
85. Staff Accident
A member of Clapham P-Way was working within the depot and lifting part of some stressing kit onto a pallet
Upon lifting it about 4 inches off the ground, he sustained shooting pain in back having pulled a muscle.
Golden Hour applied.

Christchurch
34. Staff Accident
A member of staff from Wimbledon Works Delivery tripped over a fishplate spanner in the 4 foot and fell.
His knee hit the ballast causing a cut and his body hit the rail causing a lot of pain.
He attended Southampton General Hospital to have the knee glued closed.
The Golden Hour was applied and the injured party returned for duty the following night.

Aldershot
13. Staff Accident
A member of Basingstoke S&T twisted their right ankle after ballast gave way underfoot near the end of platform 1.
No first aid required.
The Golden Hour was applied and the injured party returned to work the following night.

Poole
Possession Irregularity
An irregularity occurred within T3 item 508, a possession between Poole and Wareham which included the Hamworthy goods line and No.1 and 2 sidings at Poole.
Signal protection had been granted 00:41 and as Blocking staff were laying their protection in the Poole area, a train from the sidings began to depart into the station due to a Signaller error.
There were no injuries and incident was not declared a near miss.
This incident is subject to further investigation.
